This is a Handmade From Nepal Solar Plexus Chakra E Note Hand Hammered Meditation Singing Bowl 4 Inches.

This is a Handmade From Nepal Root Chakra Plexus G Note Hand Hammered Meditation Singing Bowl 3 Inches. This special bowl is made of Pure Brass. The metal used represents balance like the sun and harmony like the moon. This bowl can be used for meditation, music, and chakra cleansing. A wooden hammer and silk cushion is included with this singing bowl.  This bowl was hand-hammered in a traditional singing-bowl family house in Nepal. Due to it being a handmade bowl,the surface has many marks hammered on it. The bowl has a long lasting tune which creates a totally peaceful environment around you.

The Solar Plexus chakra is found midway in between the end of the breastbone and the navel. Yellow is the shade of the solar plexus chakra and the musical note is E.

The sound of singing bowls has a healing resonance and can be used therapeutically. Singing bowls are connected to the major chakras based on the Buddhist Tantric System.

What is Singing Bowls: 

Singing bowls (also known as Tibetan Singing Bowls, Rin Gongs, Himalayan Bowls or Suzu Gongs) are specifically classified as a standing bells and sit with the bottom surface resting. The sides and rim of singing bowls vibrate to produce a fundamental sound frequency (first harmonic) and usually two audible harmonic overtones (second and third harmonic). Singing bowls are used worldwide for meditation, music, relaxation and personal well-being. They are utilized by a wide range of professionals, including health professionals, school teachers, musicians and spiritual teachers. Singing bowls are used in health care by psychotherapists, massage therapists, cancer specialists, stress and meditation specialists. They are utilized to help treat cancer patients and also for post traumatic stress disorder. They are popular in classrooms to help facilitate group activities and focus students’ attention. Singing bowls were historically made throughout Asia, especially Nepal, China and Japan. Today they are made in Nepal, India, Japan, China and Korea. The best known types are from the Himalayan region and are often referred to as Tibetan singing bowls. 

HOW TO PLAY SINGING BOWL:

1) Place (don’t touch/hold bowl with your fingers, it may dampen vibration/sound) bowl on palm of one of your hands.
2) Slide/rotate the striker firmly around rim of the bowl with an even pressure and uniform speed to produce vibration/sound.
3) Vibration and sound can be produced also by just hitting the bowl with the striker.
Another method is “gonging” or “striking” the bowls. This is a simple method that involves striking the bowl with a wood or padded striker.
